Hayford Tenkorang Boadi popularly known as T Kay was born in Accra on 14th June, 1987.
He is a talented Ghanaian recording Artist and a Producer (Sound Engineer), he kicked off his singing career at the age of 9 where he could sing and play percussion instruments like Conca, which he later jump into Drums etc... At the age of 12 years he involved himself in several local talents shows and also joined a good singing group in Family Life A/G where he became very skilful player of most of the instruments like Piano, Bass Guitar, and Drums etc…
 
T Kay’s favourite songs he likes at then was singing and playing of Gospel Jazz interludes.
Hayford Tenkorang Boadi was commonly known as T Kay in his music career, within the year 2007 T kay in no time developed the interest in becoming a sound engineer after his SHS, so he started the tuition under some good producers like Nelson, Sam Bab and through his passionate love for the work he received the certificate as the best student in the engineering school. T kay started by surprising MC’s with crazy stuffs (beats). Within some couple of time T kay had admission to continue his education at the tertiary sector i.e. University of Development Studies (UDS) offering BSc Accounting with-Computing in the Upper East Region, Navrongo.   
 
T kay had in mind that before he can become a very good and talented sound engineer, he should have his own music studio, so he took the initiative to open his own music studio known as HOT MIX MUSIC PRODUCTION (HMMP) in the Upper East Region, Navrongo, having more talented MC’s and singers under his records. MC’s like T-zay, Twimp, Manel Meezy, Nello, and many more.
The CEO as well the SOUND ENGINEER (T kay) is well talented in making crazy beats, that is where the name HOT MIX was generated. All beats made by T kay is far different and unique from many sound producers worldwide.
T Kay has produce sound for many different musicians in countries like US, Sierra Leone Ghana etc… and currently recording these great artists Rasbobo, Bylon T Zay , Frang Gee and many more.
