
Kwaw Kese has described his recent ordeal behind bars as being through hell on social media platform, Twitter.
Born Emmanuel Botchway, Kwaw Kese was arrested for allegedly smoking a
substance suspected to be Indian hemp in public, at a drinking spot
close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.
All his four attempts at securing bail were refused and the case was adjourned to January 5, 2015.
However, Kwaw Kese was rushed to the hospital on December 24 after
complaining of severe stomach ache. The second time the hiplife musician
had sought medical attention for stomach ache since his arrest on
November 22.
Eventually, Kwaw Kese was granted bail on health grounds, after he took
ill and was admitted to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Since his release from police custody, the ever vibrant persona of Kwaw
Kese seems to have left him, considering his stay in prison and a more
sober person is what we see today.
Kwaw Kese, among other things, even attended 31st Watch Night Service,
and has been very circumspect with his posts on social media.
The Madtime Entertainment artistes' next court date is tomorrow January 5.
