Dancehall
artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has
conveyed his malaise in a post on facebook about this year’s 4syte Music Video Awards nominees announced on October 11 at the Oak Plaza Hotel in Accra.
In a facebook post on Sunday, Stonebwoy said he should have been
nominated for ‘Best Music Video” and “Best Story Line’ categories. He
alleged that the nominations and winning process is not fair as the
public sees it. IN the words of the Bhim Nation hitmaker,
“Listen I think I DESERVE to have been nominated
for#BestMaleVideo, #BestStoryLine with #NOTAGAIN at this year’s
#4SYTEMUSICVIDEO AWARDS @official4SYTETV .. is it because the director
wasn’t part of the selection process ?
Being Nominated For a category Well deserved,
Is worth way much more than the award To Me.. because the winning process can always be manipulated..
This is not the first of its kind when
it comes to Awards.. My Fans and I have worked hard enough so to make it
speak for us instead of following the “band wagon method” to be
noticed.. ghana knows what I mean”
Stone was nominated for Best Reggae/Dancehall Video category.
4syte Music Video Awards comes off on November 15 at the Accra
