If there is one interview I have listened to in recent times that tickled my fantasy, then I am sure it will be that one between King Ayisoba and Christian Agyei Frimpong on Channel R 92.7 FM this morning.

Christian was asking King Ayisoba why he feels hip life music is irrelevant and flexghana.com is glad to let you know some of his responses. The interview also hinged on the smoking of “WEE” and we are sure you will love King Ayisoba`s response.

Now on the hiplife music issue: “Yes I have said it and I will say it again. Ghanaian hiplife musicians are not known anywhere in the world. I tour several countries in the world and when I go there and I ask of hip life music, the people don’t know them. They know musicians like Ebo Taylor but not our hiplife artistes. An artiste like Sarkodie only plays shows for Ghanaian communities anytime he travels abroad and he is not the only one. Almost all the hiplife artistes do not play big shows when they travel abroad. They should learn at least how to play the musical instrument and that will help them a lot. They are not doing enough at all” he told Christian on Channel R this morning.

On the wee smoking saga: “I smoke wee and if you don’t like the truth, go and arrest the people who are drinking alcohol with pot bellies. I can`t force any musician to smoke wee but I can speak for myself. Ghanaians hate the truth. Why not go and arrest the ladies who are doing prostitution on the streets” in fact this and many more happened on the entertainment discussion programme today.

Now we at flexghana.com feel that it is high time the law enforcement agencies call King Ayisoba to order because the way he is glorifying wee in the media is getting out of hands. What do you also think?
