Is Christopher Dorner Still Alive?

Following the largest manhunt in the history of the LAPD, Christopher Dorner is believed to have died in the cabin fire in the San Bernardino Mountains after a shootout that left a sheriff deputy dead and another wounded. There have been numerous reports of a body being found in the cabin in Big Bear Lake, California, however, LAPD Cmdr. Andrew Smith adamantly denied those reports, stating that no one has been allowed to enter the still smoldering remains of the cabin.
Did Chris Dorner manage to escape an almost sealed fate?
It has still not been revealed who or what started the fire during the extensive shootout, but it has been confirmed that Dorner's body was not found in the blaze. A spokesperson for the department has instructed the media not to show any close ups of the officers on the scene because Dorner could be watching the live coverage. The Sheriff's department told all media to stop tweeting updates, since Dorner has an active Twitter account and has been tweeting since the ordeal started on February 3rd.
The various conflicting and inconsistent accounts from the media and the police would lead anyone to believe the former Navy Reservist who received medals for his firearm accuracy has eluded capture and possibly death. Detective Anschick of the LAPD allegedly found Dorner's wallet containing his ID on February 7th near the U.S./Mexico border, however, it has been reported that another form of ID was found near the charred remains to what has now been discovered is unequivocally not that of Christopher Dorner. According to law enforcement, he is still considered a fugitive of justice.
