Ja Rule's two-year sentence will soon come to an end.
After heading into prison in June 2011, Ja Rule will be released from the clink in a matter of months.
According to his website (via IFWT), the former Murder Inc. rapper is scheduled to be liberated from jail on February 21, 2013.
Ja entered prison on June 7, 2011 on charges stemming from an arrest
made in 2007 after he left a concert at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. Police
pulled over his vehicle and upon inspection found a loaded
semi-automatic handgun.
While in jail, Ja has been relatively quiet, releasing his latest album Pain is Love 2 and publishing an open letter addressing what life is like in the detention facility.
