Highlfe musician Kwaisey Pee is set to release a new single in October featuring Nigeria's music star J-Martins.
The two musicians who met at the music festival a couple of months ago in Ghana have finished recording what Kwaisey Pee calls a potential hit and is set to be released in the middle of this month.
The song which was recorded at Groove Zone by Kaywa is titled 'Mefa Twen? (Atofo ke sieyi)” and was recorded in Twi, pidgin and a bit of J-Martins mother language. Kwaisey Pee revealed this is his first ever single ahead of his sixth album which he is still working on. He said he will release this album before the end of next year.
Kwaisey Pee further noted that he is still looking forward to feature more international acts. He said he is already in talks with Peter Morgan from Jamaica and hopes to do something with him soon. According to him, Wizkid, 9ice are also on his featuring list for his sixth album. From home will be E.L, Asem, Mugeez, and then perhaps Guru.
He also revealed how J-Martins made the work simple for him. “Well, after he did his part he kept laying it over and over again, he thinks it`s a good song that will really make an impact and was nice working with him,” he said.
He performed at a show dubbed night with Kwaisey Pee last Saturday in London. The highlife singer described his performance as wonderful and said he has more in stock for fans after the launch of his sixth album.
