From the streets of Duval . Arises a new voice of vision .
Influenced by the poetry of the likes of OutKast, Goodie M.O.B., UGK,
and Tupac. Young Swain steps forward seeking to carry on the traditions
of the forefathers of the game.
Showered with soulful melodies and intellectual concepts. Swain is
sure to set himself apart from other lyricists. Not only has he been
doing music for 16 years. He was raised in a family full of singers and
aspiring musicians. His Mother ( Who just so happens to have a cameo on
his EP “Vibe And Chill” alongside his Uncle Everett) used to take him on
road trips to different cities, as she sung with a gospel group name
“The Chosen Few”. Some say that attributes to his soulful ways.
“Know Thyself”, he states. Quoting the phrase commonly associated
with Socrates. “I hear so many claim real, but what are they real to
themselves?”, he asks. “Being real merely means being yourself”.
“Staying true to yourself”. “I have been through a lot”. “I have seen a
lot and through music I share my experiences” he says. Definitely Swain
is being himself, and his music is an extension of his character. A cool
breeze follows him when he enters a room. Wise words pour from his lips
when he speaks. So with no further hesitation. I introduce to the world
Young Swain. A single from his album titled “Grown Man Literature” Listen below and leave your comments.
